SVD – Vinayaka Chaturthi

Om Namoh Venkatesaya. Today (Saturday- 7/9/24) with almost 200 devotees celebrated Sri Vinayaka Chathuruthi grandly at Sungai Sumun Sri Venkateswara Devastanam. Homamu, Abhisekkamu and Alangkaranamu commenced at 4.01 pm had been carried out successfully. After the Homamu , tea was served to all the devotees.
From 7.01 pm onwards Pradhoskaala Pooja, Archanalu took place successfully. During this pooja Sri Ramunaidu, Sri Jegathes Rao and Mahilas sang Bhajanalu songs to entertain all the devotees to make them feel happy and satisfied . At 8.31 pm all the devotees joined Pallaki Uregimpu procession and moved around the Devastanam. Dhattu Bhajanalu by Youths and Mahilas. Dhattu Bhajanalu performances during Pallaki Uregimpu was really an attraction for the celebration. Devastanam Deputy Chairman Sri Ramunaidu conveyed his humble thanks to all the devotees for their presence and also maintaining their discipline to join for the prayers in time to move all the assignments successfully .
Sri Ramunaidu also conveyed thanks to Mr J. P. Narayana Family ( The Great Eastern Life Assurance Ltd, Teluk Intan ) for contributing the VINAYAKA VIGRAHMU to Sri Venkateswara Devastanam. After the prayers annadhanamu was served to all the devotees. Mr. JP Narayana Family bear the cost for today’s festival expenses and Annadhanamu. Thanks to the food handling section for successfully offering food to all the devotees. The offering included vegetarian dishes, payasam and laddulu and refreshing drinks. This act of service, known as Annadhanamu in Hindu Tradition and also significant aspect of our Devastanam .
