TELUGU ACADEMY OF MALAYSIA is an ICON PROJECT and the education arm of Telugu Association of Malaysia with an objective of setting up an epic centre for Telugus to learn the Telugu Language, Culture and Fine Arts. The Academy will not only serve the Malaysian Telugus but is built as a hub to serve all Telugus in the South East Asian Region.

Telugu Association of Malaysia embarked into a project of structuring the learning of Telugu Language and to this signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Potti Sri Ramulu Telugu Language University of Hyderabad, Telangana, India in 2013.

A combination of expertise from both organisations led to the structured models of teaching Telugu Language which had been developed into four levels namely :-
Pravesika (Level 1)
Madyamika (Level 2)
Praveena (Level 3)
Visharadha (Level 4)

Upon completion of the four levels, a student will be able to prepare and sit for the Diploma in Telugu Course offered by the University.
